The Art Gallery of South Australia, Migration Museum and South Australian Museum are along North Terrace. Statues, war memorials and significant buildings line the terrace. There's plenty to admire. Start at the university and head west.

The Adelaide Festival Centre is Adelaide's "arts' heart". The centre overlooks Elder Park on the banks of the picturesque River Torrens. It's a perfect place to feed the ducks, row a boat, walk or cycle the Linear Park Trail.
