At Warren National Park near Pemberton, you can go bush walking through ancient forests of karri trees. Walk trails winding through the forest floor – you'll feel dwarfed by these old giants. You will see some of the tallest karri trees which were once used as fire lookout towers. These include the famous Gloucester Tree, the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree and Diamond Tree.

Stirling Range National Park

Beautiful and pristine Stirling Range National Park near Albany is famous for its colourful wildflowers, bushwalking and camping. Stirling Range National Park is home to one of Western Australia's highest peaks, Bluff Knoll. Take the challenge and climb Bluff Knoll, which rises more than a kilometre into the air, or go rock climbing at Ellen Peak. You'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the park and surrounding plains. Bluff Knoll is one of the few places in Western Australia where it snows – but only very occasionally!
