Sarawak Cultural Village

Tucked away at the foothills of legendary Mount Santubong, 35 km from Kuching, is Sarawak's fascinating cultural showcase, the award-winning "Sarawak Cultural Village". It is also the venue for the World Harvest Festival and the Rainforest World Music Festival, an internationally renowned festival.

This living museum idepicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sarawak and conveniently portrays their respective lifestyle amidst 14 acres of tropical vegetation.

Cat Museum

The Cat Museum is located on the Ground Floor of the Kuching North City Hall Headquarters Building at the Bukit Siol, Jalan Semariang, Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak.It is owned by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU). There are 2000 exhibits, artifacts, statues about cats from all over the world. According to Malaysian and Chinese beliefs, the cat is a lucky animal.

Fairy and Wind Cave

The Fairy and Wind Caves are located about 50 km away from Kuching. Before reaching the destination, you'll pass by fascinating villages, rubber estates, pepper gardens, cocoa plantations and lush rainforest.

Once in the cave, you'll marvel at the wonderful limestone formations in these mystical caverns that are thousands of years old. Some of the rock formations resemble figures and animals, becoming a point of religious interest for some of the locals. Another attraction in this cave is a cool stream that flows out from it.
