The Equator Restaurant is located on the eastern edge of the waterfront promenade in Kuching. It serves a wide range of good quality meals at very reasonable prices. You can sit in the open air section for coffee or a drink, or eat a meal undercover upstairs and get great views of the Sarawak River and lights of northen Kuching at night.

This deservedly popular Chinese seafood restaurant is a big hit with ex-pat visitors. Just about anything you order will be delicious, but we recommend the crabs and the fried midin with belacan. If you are a big spender, you could always go for some lobsters straight from the tank.
