Rizal Park is a reminder of Philippine's history and the great national hero of Philippines. Jose Rizal led the uprising against the Spanish colonial masters and was subsequently executed.

The park is located in the middle of Manila. It  has gardens, garden stadium, observatory, open-air concert hall, artists' sanctuary, light and sound theatre, restaurants and many fountains.

At the center of Rizal Park is the bronze monument of Rizal that stands a few meters away from the execution site. A guard stands in honor of the statue around the clock. International leaders take time to lay wreath at the statue during their state visits.
